My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The rooms were very cosy, a decent size, with a modern bathroom and a comfortable bed. It was my birthday, and the room was clean, well-equipped with lovely tea & biscuits, bottles of water, and Molten Brown smellies in the bathroom. The hotel was really nice, a lot bigger, and cleaner than I expected. The staff were great, although it seemed a bit understaffed for a full hotel. The location was perfect for us, easy access to where we wanted to be, and the Scottish Borders were beautiful. The dining experience was one of the best I've had, although the portions were a bit small. The facilities were excellent, including room service and housekeeping. Overall, a wonderful stay with a few minor areas for improvement in service coverage and dining portions.
