Reviews and Ratings
The hotel location is great for day trips or relaxing walks, giving easy access to desired destinations. The rooms, though disappointing with skylights and no windows, need updating and lack views. The service was friendly and accommodating, but some confusion with orders. The dining experience was good with small portions needing extras. Overall, a pleasant stay for exploring Northumberland and the Scottish Borders.
My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The rooms were very cosy, a decent size, with a modern bathroom and a comfortable bed. It was my birthday, and the room was clean, well-equipped with lovely tea & biscuits, bottles of water, and Molten Brown smellies in the bathroom. The hotel was really nice, a lot bigger, and cleaner than I expected. The staff were great, although it seemed a bit understaffed for a full hotel. The location was perfect for us, easy access to where we wanted to be, and the Scottish Borders were beautiful. The dining experience was one of the best I've had, although the portions were a bit small. The facilities were excellent, including room service and housekeeping. Overall, a wonderful stay with a few minor areas for improvement in service coverage and dining portions.
My stay at the hotel was wonderful! The rooms were very clean and well-equipped, with lovely tea and biscuits, bottled water, and Molton Brown toiletries in the bathroom. However, the noise from morning construction outside the window was quite disruptive. The service was top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff going above and beyond to assist. The location was perfect for my needs, providing easy access to beautiful Northumberland. The dining experience was great overall, though ordering items separately was a minor inconvenience. The facilities were well-maintained, adding to the overall comfort of my stay.
